But it doesn't stop there. Trouble is reportedly brewing between the Vatican and the US Catholic Bishops Conference. Vatican nuncio, Cardinal Christophe Pierre, accuses the American bishops of dragging their feet on Synodality and the spirit of the Catacombs Pact.

Meanwhile, as Francis invites a busload of transexuals to have lunch with him in the Vatican, critics, including political commentator Dinesh D'Souza, accuses the Pontiff of confirming sinners in their lifestyle, rather than calling them to convert.

The Holy See Press Office announced today that Pope Francis has removed Bishop Strickland as Bishop of Tyler and replaced him in the interim with Bishop Joe Vásquez of Austin. 

Cardinal DiNardo wrote this statement of "explanation":

This is total war. Francis is a clear and present danger not only to Catholics the world over but also to the whole world itself. It appears now that he is actively trying to bury fidelity to the Church of Jesus Christ. If this is so, let him be anathema.

God bless you, Your Excellency. We stand with you now and, please God, for all eternity.

Here is the last tweet of Bishop Strickland as Bishop of Tyler, written the night before his dismissal: 

"Rejoice always that…no matter what the day brings Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, yesterday, today and forever. May the saints and the Blessed Virgin Mary always inspire us to return to Christ no matter how we may wander into darkness. Jesus is Light from Light."
